Although one of the distillery’s representative brands in the past, this shochu was retired in 1978, but the brand has now been resurrected. The name “SENBONZAKURA” was chosen in honor of the avenue of cherry trees at Mochio Park, which has been selected as one of “Japan's 100 Best Cherry Blossom Spots", and was planted and nurtured by Viscount Mishima Michitsune who was appointed as the land steward for Miyakonojo. Sold by appointed distributors. |
